JULIO 2006. * EVENTO "MINGA" : Algunos líderes directívos de AMBIKA2000 van a asistír al evento Cultural "MINGA",organizado por el Instituto Distrital de Cultura y Turísmo de Bogotá D.C. - Del 18 , al 23 de Julio 2006.                          _______________   OCTUBRE 2006. *"SEMANA CULTURAL DEL NIÑO PIJAO": El Representante cultural José A Ducuara, ha empezado la convocatoria para la realizacion del proyecto  "SEMANA CULTURAL DEL NIÑO PIJAO, a realizarse en Territorio Tolimense el proximo mes de Octubre 2006. Esta vez, el equipo organizador dará una presentacion teatral  no en títeres de guante, sino en "marotes" dimensionales (titeres en vara larga de madera). De igual forma,los talleres en difusion de leyendas mitológicas tradicionales de la Cultura Pijao.Tambien habra recreacion,deportes indígenas y actividades lúdicas para niños menores de 10 años.                  _________________ AGOSTO 2006. * I FORO INDIGENA URBANO : La difusora representante Sra Olga Ramirez asistió al I FORO INDIGENA URBANO, el pasado 5 de Agosto 2006, organizado por la Comunidad Nasa- Paez,ubicada en la Localidad de Kennedy Bogotá D.C.                       ------------------------ SEPTIEMBRE 2006. *-TALLER SOBRE "IDENTIDAD INDIGENA". El comité de instructores de la Fundacion se han reunido el pasado 30 de agosto, para decidir quienes estarán a cargo de dictar el proximo taller sobre IDENTIDAD, en el distrito a partir de la proxima semana hasta el final  de Septiembre 2006. Este taller es organizado por la Universidad a Distancia UNAD y la Fundacion AMBIKA2000, quien ha sido amablemente invitada,para difundir este conocimiento, en ésta area Cultural.                        ----------------------- DICIEMBRE 2006. *II" FERIA DE LA PRODUCTIVIDAD DE"MUJER Y GENERO". Por segunda vez, el grupo de MUJER Y GENERO, de la Alcaldia local de Antonio Nariño y sus lideresas  Dra CORNELIA NISPERUZA y TERESSA PEÑALOSA, unen esfuerzos para mostrar en la II FERIA DE LA RODUCTIVIDAD, toda clase de productos fabricados en casa por mujeres de la Localidad. FEBRERO 2007. *FORTALECIMIENTO PARA ORGANIZACIONES JUVENILES LOCALES. El proximo 16 de Febrero la Fundacion participará en la Inauguracion del proyecto FORTALECIMIENTO A ORGANIZACIONES JUVENILES, organizado por la Fundacion FORO CIVICO.y la Alcaldía Local de Antonio Nariño. El proyecto apunta a ayudar a jovenes entre los 14-26 años para que tomen parte en los diferentes talleres y actividades que puedan desarrollar sus capacidades,y/o habilidades artísticas y laborales. La fundacion AMBIKA2000, abrirá el evento con sus típicas danzas y Musica Sanujanera.                     ------------------------------	JULY 2006. * "MINGA" THE EVENT: Some main AMBIKA2000 chiefs and directors leaders, are going to the General  indigenous Meeting "MINGA", organised by the Culture and Tourism Institute board of Bogotá D.C.- From 18th - 23rd July 2006.                           ____________ OCTOBER 2006. * "PIJAO CHILD CULTURAL WEEK" : The indigenous Representative Mr JOSE A DUCUARA, has started the summonings for the project "PIJAO CHILD CULTURAL WEEK", due to realise in Pijao territory next October 2006. This time,the working team organisers will give a theatrical performance,not hand gloves puppet, but big dimentional "Marotes" (long stick puppets).Plus the usual workshops on legends and Mythological figures from traditional Pijao culture. Also indigenous sports and general recreation for Youngsters!!..                       ________________ AUGUST 2006. *I FORUM URBAN INDIGENOUS ENVIRONMENT: The Foundations diffusion Representative Mrs Olga Ramirez went to the I FORUM URBAN INDIGENOUS ENVIRONMENT, last 5th August 2006, held by the Nasa - Paez Community settled at the borough of Kennedy Bogotá D.C.               ------------------------------------- SEPTEMBER 2006. *"INDIGENOUS IDENTITY" WORKSHOP. The foundation´s Tutor Comité, have had a meeting on 30th August, to decide about,who will be the ones who will take part in the next IDENTITY workshop due to take place in the District, during the following week, till the end of September 2006. The workshop is organised by the UNAD (Distance University) in the borough of Antonio Nariño. AMBIKA2000 Indigenous Foundation has been kindly invited to take part of this Identity workshop.                  ------------------------- DECEMBER 2006. *II PRODUCTIVITY FAIR "WOMANKIND" GROUP. For the second time, the women group from WOMANKIND,and their leaders Mrs CORNELIA NISPERUZA,and Mrs TERESSA PEÑALOSA, come again together, to show in their "PRODUCTIVITY FAIR", all kinds of different hand made products made by Local women. From artesanies,craftmanship displays, to music,literature and stage performances.Also traditional gastronomy and drinks from different regions. FEBRUARY 2007. *STREGHTENING YOUNG LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS. On friday 16th February, the Foundation will take part at the opening event STREGHTENING YOUNG LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS,organised by the Foundation FORO CIVICO, and the Local Council. The project is aimed to help all youngsters from 14-26 years old to take part in the iniciative,to engage in workshops and activities,to help develop their capabilities. our indigenous dances and SANJUANERO music, will open the Event.                    --------------------------
SEPTIEMBRE 2007. I  MUESTRA DE JUEGOS DEPORTIVOS INDIGENAS. (Jueves 27 Septiembre 10 a.m-Parque la Fragua- Àntonio Nariño.Bogotà D.C.) El proximo Jueves 27 la Direccion de la Fundacion harà una pequeña muestra de juegos autòctonos indigenas para la comunidad Urbana de la Localidad. A invitacion de la Subdireccion de Juventudes de la Alcaldìa Antonio Nariño.. Los compañeros invitaran a niños y jovenes de los diferentes colegios locales para participar en la; CARRERA DE ""GUARCAS"...!! Que serà eso??.... lo invitamos a que asísta,y disfrute de un poco de aire fresco   y se divierta por un rato. _____________________ OCTUBRE 2007. "MES DE LOS NIÑOS INDIGENAS RURALES. SEMANA DEL NIÑO PIJAO: (28 - 31  Octubre 2007.) En su 3era version, la Fundacion tendrá su evento de niños Rurales,en el mes de Octubre. Esta vez, estamos coordinando la logística,para reunir a mas de 750 niños de los cabildos cercanos a la Comunidad de "LLOVEDERO", cerca al municipio de Ortega, en el departamento del Tolíma. Como es usual, parte de llevarles un rato de sano esparcimiento de alegría a los niños vulnerables del campo, ésta será tambien una buena ocasion, para ilustrar a todos acerca del enorme patrimonio Cultural, que la étnia PIJAO, conserva desde Ancestro. Habrá un taller sobre leyendas mitológicas, y el significado de figuras monoliticas trsadicionales. El taller será sobre PINTURAS, que los niños harán.La mejor pintura obtendrá los mejores elogios y un modesto premio de estímulo en especie, para los niños.	SEPTEMBER 2007. I  LOCAL EXHIBITION ON SPORTS AND INDIGENOUS GAMES . (Thursday 27th September-Fragua Public Park-10 a.m) Members of our Community will gather next 27th September at the local FRAGUA PARK,to hold an indigenous competition show for Urban people community. Sponsored by the Youth Subdirectors board from the Local  Antonio Nariño Council. Our Organisers are inviting youngsters from all local school to join the competition called ""GUARCAS" runnings...!! What on heavens may be that??.... Please come and enjoy a bit of fresh air for a while,  and spare  your time. _____________________ OCTOBER 2007. "VULNERABLE CHILDREN MONTH. PIJAO CHILDREN WEEK: (From 9th - 15th October 2007) For the 3rd time the Foundation, will hold itas children rural gathering and festivity. This time, the event will take par at the Indigenous Reservation of "LLOVEDERO" near Ortega town, at Tolima County. As Usually, apart from giving rural children a bit of spare happy time,it will also be a good ocassion for teaching them throug the workshops, about their values and the patrimonial output the ethnic group keeps from ancestral times. There will be illustrations on mythological subjects,monolithic figures and their meanings.For this, the Foundation will give a painting workshop,for children, and the best drawing, will have an award price.
FIESTA DEL NIÑO INDIGENA PIJAO. 30 -31 Octubre 2007. Debído a algunos problemas de logística tiempo y recursos suficientes, el evento a celebrarse en el area rural de Ortega-Tolima, ha sido aplazado a nueva fecha. Por la magnitud del evento, la Fundacion no ha alcanzado a recoger los suficientes recursos economicos para transporte asi como el recurso humano necesario, para el desarrollo del evento. Como consecuencia, la Fundacion hara una pequeña Reunion en su Salon sede, para todos los niños indigenas radicados en la Localidad de Antonio Nariño.	PIJAO CHILDREN DAY, 30TH - 31rst October 2007 Due to late arrangements, lack of time and enough economical resources for transport,  The rural event due to take place at Ortega town, has been postponed till new date. Because of the amount of rural chuildren envolved and no enough resources collected for travelling, The Foundation will have a gathering with indigenous children  urban set,and living in the borough of Antonio Nariño.

NOVIEMBRE 2007. II VITRINA TURISTICA Y COMERCIAL Antonio Nariño.Bogotà D.C.-Parque Local de Restrepo.  (del 8 -11 Noviembre 2007). En su Segunda Version, y con apoyo de los Entes Administrativos Locales, La Fundacion participarà en èste importante evento. Esta vez aparte de difundir Cultura con sus bebidas indigenas naturales, el grupo de trabajo de la Fundacion, tambien incluirà otras muestras de su trabajo gastronómico artesanal. Tendremos "Koko-eres", dulces fabricados a base de panela o "Dulces de la Sonrisa".Igualmente el "guarruz" de  Maiz, y el "Peto Rolo", entre otros...  ____________________  NOVIEMBRE 2007. (DEL 17 - 18 Nov.2007) El Cabildo ,Indigena PAEZ-PUEBLO NAZA radicado en Kennedy Bogotá, esta invitando a todas las Comunidades indigenas y demas ètnicas, al Foro que sobre vulneracion en Derechos Humanos de las etnicas urbanas, se llevarà a cabo el proximo  Sabado y Domingo 17-18 Noviembre 2007. Este Domingo 17 de Febrero,el Grupo PIJAO AMBIKA2000 hará una muestra cultural en el centro Internacional del Mercado las pulgas de SAN ALEJO de Bogotá D.C. Esta será una buena oportunidad,para compartir con nuestros hermanos locales Kitchwas - Ingas, mostrando todos, nuestras costumbres natívas,desde las bebidas típicas indigenas, mitos y creencias religiosas, hasta los diferentes articulos hechos a mano por la Comunidad, y el grupo de artesanos locales de Antonio Nariño. Our ethnical local brothers Kitchwas and INGAS will be sharing the place with us, all in an open air Fair. So if you are just in transit through Bogotá, take a little rest a few hours from the Airport,come and enjoy a bit of our National Indigenous Cultural Patrimony. ___________________
