QUE SOMOS :
Somos una minoría étnica cuya comunidad, nos hemos encomendado la tarea de recuperacion y restauracion de las raices culturales de nuestra étnia PIAJO.
El Pijao es un sub-grupo indígena sobreviviente aquí, en la region Andína en el Plan del territorio ancestral de "Dulíma"(Departamento del Tolíma Colombia-S.A.),que casi desaparece en el tiempo de la carnicería natíva de la mal llamada "Conquísta Española" de Sur America en los años 1.600.....
Despues de la Constitucion de 1.890 del Presidente y Libertador SIMON BOLIVAR, los gobiernos posteriores Criollos y Neo-Coloniales de la tan soñada "Gran Colombia"(5 Naciones) por el Libertador, han estado desde entonces cada 4 años estinguiendo y cambiando a traves de la moderna intro-Aculturacion, lo UNICO que nos queda como Patrimonio Existencial:
Los "Usos y Costumbres" tradicionales de nuestras Comunidades arraigadas y/o enraizadas en estos territorios sagrados mucho tiempo ántes de la "Conquísta".
Es por ésto que queremos a traves de nuestra página, mostrar al mundo la Mision y Objetívos del trabajo cultural reconstructívo que estamos haciendo basados Principalmente en el "FUERO INDIGENA",entre otros libros de preceptos de luchas y garantías jurídicas, el cual contiene los principales fundamentos para la preservacion del Patrimonio Indígena Colombiano .
De ésta forma, podremos tambien mostrar a todos nuestros demás naciones étnicas hermanas, una mejor imágen de nuestro Pais, y la diversidad de nuestro gran Acervo Cultural Nacional.
MISION :
* Pregonar y fomentar, tanto en nuestras Comunidades natívas rurales, como en las sociedades mixtas que cohabítan en las grandes ciudades,los princípios elementales de IDENTIDAD, su significado y Valores de la Raiz Natíva.
Pues sin lugar a dudas, las componentes del arraigo indígena como son a saber, el comportamiento innato y natural del Indivíduo, diferencia de Pensamiento, caracter obstinado,conocimiento geneológico de su ascendencia étnica, sentido de Pertenencia tribal ,hábitos incambiables y cotidianidad de vida en general, és lo que constituye el "ROTULO NATURAL DE IDENTIDAD CULTURAL" ante el Mundo que nos rodea y de igual manera donde quiera que nos encontremos Nacional o Internacionalmente.
* Investigar, reconstruir, y enseñar la raiz de nuestra "Lengua Materna" original de nuestro DIALECTO PIJAO,perdído desde la Epoca PostColonial y asi poder devolver el lenguaje Castellano prestado, que hemos estado utilizando desde la Visita Peninsular Europea.
* Proveer el incentívo y necesario estímulo para nuestros niños,que víven ahora en medio de la Aculturacion de Sociedades Modernas,para que tomen el suficiente interes por la práctica de "Usos & Costumbres" Patrimonio de nuestra Cultural indígena y así evitar de ésta forma el Olvído y extincion de la Cultura Natíva de ésta Region.
* Proteger el Patrimonio Indígena Colombiano contra toda acto de corrupcion,robo, injuria,destruccion arquitectónica, y demas daños que puedan afectar su Vulnerabilidad, haciendo actividades efectivas de Control Social de Defensa, de acuerdo a las Leyes Nacionales, asi como tambien recurriendo a las Internacionales.
OBJETIVOS :
* Concientizar y cambiar en la nueva generacion de éste Milenio,el errado concepto infundado, que ser o venír de orígen "índio", natívo natural de éstas tierras, és motívo de desprecio, insulto o verguenza. Esto es quizá, un prejuicio de la Sociedad Criolla o descendientes de la Postconquista de la nueva Generacion Colombiana.
Esto tambien puede venír del antiguo Sistema de Educacion General.Decímos un concepto errado infundado inconcientemente quizá, porque un indigena legítimo "Natural" NUNCA aparentará Ser, o venír de una clase "Noble", aparte del Orgullo natural de su casta étnica ej., Wayuu, Nasa, Embera o Pijao, etc.,
Como resultado de éste trabajo, la Raiz de nuestras sobrevivientes 84 Culturas Indígenas Nacionales, se fortalecerá particularmente, para nuestra Comunidades desplazadas que ahora víven en modernos suburbios de las grandes metropolis Urbanas.
Pues por arraigo innato sabemos y sentímos que, la Sociedad Moderna Nó siempre cambiará la actitud legítima de un indígena "Natural",como tampoco su natural "forma de Pensamiento".

We are a displaced minor indigenous community commited to rescue and restore the grounds of our ethnic PIJAO Culture.

After President SIMON BOLIVAR and hís Constitution in 1890, the Creoles and Neo-Colonial Goverments of the so dreamed "Gran Colombia"(Great Colombia-5 nations), have tried every 4 years since, to extinguish our indigenous Cultures, destroying through gradual modern intro-aculturation, the ONLY Patrimony We have:
The "USE AND CUSTOMS" of our Traditional communities rooted here in these sacred territories centuries ago.
This is why We want to show everybody through our page, the Mission and proposed targets We are already working on, for the reconstruction of our Culture, based on the Native "Fuero Indígena" a Sacred book which contains the main Fundamental Principles for the preservation of National Indigenous Patrimony.
So in this way, We will also be able to show every International brother Population, a better image of our Country and the diversity of our Cultural Output.
MISSION:
* Tell and widespread in our young indigenous Communities as well as mixed raced Societies living in big Cities, the Main Principles of Indigenous IDENTITY, its meaning and root Values.
Evidently.The group of inner elements such as inborn character, natural behaviour, attitude, rooting, pertaining Sense and own genealogial tribal Knowledge, shows in a whole, the constitution and natural IDENTITY LABEL of any subject wherever you are in the World...
* Reconstruct, build and teach the root of our original Native Language. The PIJAO DIALECT lost during the PostColonial Foreign Culture imposed here inthe XVI century.
*Provide the necessary means and stimulus for our aculturized children living now among modern Societies, to grow enough interest in the practice of our "use & customs", in order to avoid oblivion and the extinction of Indigenous Cultures in this Region.
* Protect Colombian Indigenous Patrimony against any kind of Detrimental damage, through making labour activities in Social Control Defense,according to National Law as well as Internationally.
GOALS :
* Creation of AWARENESS in order to change the concept, wrongly induced, that being from aboriginal roots, is a pejorative reason to feel ashamed of. It is a prejudice probably created by Creole Society and PostConquest descendants of the New Generation.
It may come from Old General Educational System,We say Wrongly induced, as a legitime Indigenous National Subject, will never pretend to be, or come from a "noble" Class different from that of his proud ethnic root e.g. Wayuu, Nasa, Embera, or Pijao, etc.
As a result of this work, the root of our surviving 84 National Indigenous Populations, will strengthen particularly for our displaced Communities living in big cities now, as Modern Society will not always change indigenous attitudes and Natural way of Thinking.
